The zai capetscha

 

The people of Grisons have a longstanding tradition of protecting their bullheads from the cold with caps, „capetscha“ in Rhaeto-Romanic. With this handicraft a range of caps has been created for zai.   

Turtè, Maria, Anna, Agatha, Katharina, Stefania, Regina, Johanna make up our new working force. They knit the exclusive caps at the old people’s home in Disentis and in doing so have increased the average age of the zai team by quite a few years.

The „capetscha“ is knitted from merino wool and lined with a soft fleece on the inside.
