The zai finish.

 

Every zai ski is finished with exclusive Nano-highspeed Race surfacing. That makes for incredibly agile turning, and is also tough and long-lasting. Not only the zai surfacing material quality is unique, but also the superb finsh. Each individual zai ski has a specially developed high-quality finish - a demanding process that already starts straight after the ski is pressed. Instead of belt sanders as for mass-produced skis, zai uses only honing. This method takes a lot longer, but gives much better results. With the same high-tech honing machines as used for racing skis, zai can optimally adjust the honing parameters for perfect results. And the original zai structuring pattern on the underlying finish can be restored in our works at any time.

 

The steel edges on the underside of every zai ski are noticeably wider than on conventional skis. This means that they can be reground more often - another reason why zai skis last longer - with the special zai edge finish that grips icy slopes so amazingly.
