The idea for the company’s own line of skiwear evolved from the desire for absolute liberty in motion combined with maximum functionality. Like all zai products, the skiwear is composed of high-grade materials and meets the demands of innovative technology and longevity.

The fabric used for zai cassacca is produced by the exclusive Italian manufacturer Loro Piana. The main fabric consists of 94% wool, 5% cashmere and 1% elastane, the reinforcing fabrics for legs and shoulders are made of 62% wool, 34% polyamide and 4% elastane. Loro Piana treats these fabrics with their Storm System®, a process involving lamination with a membrane and a layer of microfibre. The latter supplies additional thermal insulation. The fabric’s surface is finished with Rain System®, which makes water slide off.
