All too high up (laughs). No, it’s excellent for holidays here.

When the skiing season begins and you’re at the top of a slope for the first time, what goes through your mind just before you take off?
It’s terrific to be back on the piste.

Why does zai need you?
Because I’m extremely versatile. And I do a lot for the working atmosphere.

Describe the summer in Disentis.
Disentis is wonderful for hiking. Though it's not much warmer than in winter.

Why do people need zai skis?
Everyone wants recognition and to be part of something in some way or another. With zai you get both. Skiing with zai means belonging to a small and special family.

What is your favourite dish?
There are many: lasagne, pizza, tiramisu. Obviously mainly Italian food. But not seafood.

Your favourite mountain?
The main thing is plenty of snow.

What is zai to you?
zai is a way of life.
